Laptop Friendly
Last post I talked about the game getting stuck at 10 FPS on my laptop. This made testing really difficult, so I went through the code and commented out some of the more CPU-intensive stuff like fog of war. That brought it up to a manageable 30 FPS. Once I've got core game-play fully implemented, I plan on going back through and optimizing that stuff so that it can run on a wider range of computers. For now, it's nice to know that the essence of the game can still be obtained on a weak laptop.
